Client:   Amstel Light

Challenge:   Drive sales of Amstel Light at participating retail locations.

Solution:    Amstel Light created a sweepstakes that offered consumers the chance to win a catered Super Bowl party. Amstel Light solicited participation from consumers via point-of-sale at participating retailers.

To enter the sweepstakes, consumers sent a text message with their birthdate to an Amstel Light shortcode. Once the consumer's birthdate was recognized as being 21 or older, the consumer was entered into the sweepstakes.

Winners were selected in twelve local markets, and one grand prize winner also won a flat screen TV.
