Client:   Heineken

Challenges:    Promote the Heineken brand through a text-to-win sweepstakes.

Solution:    Heineken created a sweepstakes for consumers to win StubHub! Gift Certificates. The sweepstakes campaign was promoted through web banners and on-site displays at Buffalo Wild Wings restaurants nationwide.

To enroll in the sweepstakes, consumers were prompted to text their birth date to the Heineken short code. Consumers were officially entered into the sweeps once they were recognized as being 21 years and older by Kikucall's age verification software. At the end of the sweepstakes, one grand prize winner was selected to receive a $2,500 StubHub! Gift Certificate.

After entering the sweepstakes, consumers also had the option to opt-in to Heineken alerts, which allowed Heineken to build a mobile database for further promotion of Heineken products and events after the sweepstakes has ended. More than 17% of sweepstakes entrants also opted-in to receive future communications from Heineken.
