Client:   The N Cable Network, a teen-oriented channel owned by Nickelodeon/Viacom

Challenge:    Promote the season premiere of the popular teen soap opera Degrassi to viewers.

Solution:    The N ran a Summer Mall Tour in twelve U.S. cities to collect registration information from Degrassi fans. For the fall premiere of Degrassi, Kikucall sent exclusive text alerts to Degrassi fans who enrolled online and as part of the Mall Tour.

The weekly text messages sent to the Degrassi database reminded teens to tune into the show, and revealed a secret URL to win Degrassi prizes.

Kikucall successfully delivered SMS messages to Degrassi fans. Although the messages were not designed to solicit a response from consumers, Kikucall received inbound SMS messages from Degrassi fans thanking The N for the text messages and offering positive feedback.
