Samsung's Blu-Ray disc player
Challenge:
Promote the release of Samsung's new Blu-Ray disc player using an interactive, multimedia promotion.
Solution:
Using Samsung's interactive billboard in Times Square, Kikucall enabled a text-to-vote campaign that allowed pedestrians in Times Square to vote for their favorite movie genre to interact with Samsung's Blu-Ray character, Ray.
Consumers sent a text message to a Samsung short code to cast their vote for their favorite movie genre. The genre that received the most votes was displayed on the billboard in real time.
Consumers were then asked to text their name to the Samsung short code to see it appear on the billboard live in Times Square.
